It does not work with Mac OS10. Be careful when you buy this memory card. I hope I can return the one I have not opened
It is faster than your standard SD card so it is optimal for a high speed camera or video camera. this is a great product. highly recommended unless you want to go up even higher in speed

Bought this card for daughter's Canon Powershot A720, in Dec. The first time she used it, it would only hold 20 pictures, then she got unidentified image message (even though the picture taken was briefly displayed.
2008, I tried it with my Canon Sx110.
I am greatly pleased with how swift memory transfers are and the byte-to-block ratio is. I bought and use this memory card in my Nintendo Wii rather than paying for the outrageous price for a Wii specific model. Highly recommended for other Wii owners.
